Stage 7 - Fuel & electronics

2 engines = 2 fuel tanks. I went though a few variations in terms of what tanks would fit the truck best, and ended up on a pair of Du-Bro aircraft tanks which fit the profile of the truck. These where fitted to both sides of the tail section, sandwiched between a rear mount and a front bulkhead.

Pressure lines where then run from the mufflers to each tank, and fuel lines where passed from the tank into the tail section, where they where hooked up to a pair of Du-Bro filler valves. Fuel lines where then passed  through the tailsection, through the front bulkhead where a pair of fuel filters are mounted. From the filters the lines then run to each engine.

As mentioned, I installed the steering servo in front of the forward diff housing, and the throttle/brake servo inside the tail section. All wires where run back to the tail section, where I made some mounts for the receiver battery and the receiver itself.

These where then tucked away inside the tailsection, where I later mounted a cover which contained the on/off switch and antenna.
